How to add a house in a group

Houses are used to unite group participants into separate subgroups for competition among themselves. To create and manage houses in your groups, follow the steps from the tutorial below.1. Click on Groups in the left sidebar.2. Click on a group from the list.3. On the group page, click on 'Houses'.4. Click on the 'Create a first house' button.5. In a pop-up window, add a house name, a house description, and click on the icon to choose one from the variety of options. Once you add all the information, click on 'Create'.6. To create another house, click on the white 'Create house' button in the right upper corner of the group house list.7. If you already have houses created for groups, when creating a new house, you will be provided with options to reuse an existing template or create an entirely new house.8. To reuse an existing template, click on the corresponding option.9. In a right sidebar, select the house template you’d like to use and click on ‘Confirm X element(s)’.Now you can start working with your houses!

How to create a group in DrivEd LMS

Groups provide different tools for managing learners within a specific course and understanding their progress. The tools include tracking performance, course attendance, etc. Here's how you can create a group in your DrivEd LMS account.1. Click on the blue 'Create' button in the upper right corner and select 'Create a group' from the drop-down menu.2. In a pop-up window, add a group name and select a group status from the suggested options. Once done, click on 'Create'.3. To see the newly created group, go to the 'Groups' tab in the left sidebar. You can also create new groups on this page by clicking on the white 'Create a group' button.

How to add a user role in DrivEd LMS

In DrivEd LMS, there are three user roles available by default: Admin, Coach, Participant. You can create a new user role to improve the learning process in your organization. To do this, please follow the steps from the tutorial below.1. Go to 'Settings' in the left sidebar and click on 'Roles'.2. Click on the white 'Create a role' button.3. In a pop-up window, add the role name, choose the role icon and select the role mode. Then click on 'Confirm'.4. Once the new role appears you can start editing its permissions if necessary by putting or removing checkmarks next to the specific actions. 5. To delete the new role, click on three dots next to the role name and select the corresponding action from the menu.

Managing user roles in DrivEd LMS

There are three user roles in DrivEd LMS to help you organize the learning process: Admin, Coach, Participant. Each role has a set of permissions and can be modified according to your organization’s needs. To see all roles, go to the left sidebar, click on ‘Settings’ and then click on ‘Roles’.On the ‘Roles’ page you will see the list of roles within your DrivEd setup. Each role has a separate tab where you can edit the role rights and permissions by putting or removing a checkmark next to the specific activity.To edit the role, click on three dots next to the role name. You will be suggested to do the following:- Show users: If you click on ‘Show users’, you will be forwarded to the page with the list of all users within the role.- Rename the role: By clicking on ‘Rename role’ you will be able to change the role name and choose a different role icon.- Duplicate the role: This option allows duplicating the role with all settings applied to it.- Manage dashboard: By clicking on this action, you will be forwarded to the role's dashboard.- Grant all permissions: Clicking on this action will result in granting all permissions to the role in DrivEd LMS.- Revoke all permissions: This action will revoke all permissions from the role you edit.- Preview as this role: You can use the preview action to see how the LMS will look like for a specific role with a set of permissions applied.

How to add an exam

You can add an exam to assess your learners’ knowledge of the course material. The process of adding an exam is similar to adding a quiz and requires only a few steps. Follow this tutorial to learn more about adding exams to your course content.1. On the lesson's page, click on the plus sign to add a new block.2. Choose 'Exam' in the 'Knowledge testing' section of the pop-up window.3. Add an exam name and click on the icon to adjust the exam settings.4. You can adjust the passing score, set a time and attempt limits, and let students continue the course if they fail the exam. Once the necessary settings are configured, click on 'Confirm'.5. Click on the 'Add question' button to start creating your exam.

How to add an open question

Using an open question is an ideal way to assess your learners' knowledge in a flexible format. You can ask your students to provide their thoughts via text, by recording a video, an audio or by attaching a different file type with a completed task. This is how you can add the open question to your quiz or exam.Go to the quiz/exam you need.Click on ‘Add question’.In a pop-up window, go the ‘Open question’ section.Choose the format your learners will use to provide the answer.Type in the task description. Add an explanation of the expected answer if necessary.That’s it!
